OUR CUSTOMERS
Reducing machinery collisions in the workplace requires a combination of preventive measures and ongoing training for operators.
However, no matter how much signage you put up or how many training courses you provide, there is always an element of human error when it comes to machine to person collisions.
That’s where spacebands come in; your wearables pay attention even when your people are not. Real-time alerts help avoid danger and maintain safety.
spacebands allows employers to create proximity warning zones around machinery in the workplace, whether on fixed machinery or moving vehicles such as fork lift trucks.
Reduce the risk of accidents and injuries in the workplace by detecting a person in a danger zone and nudging them to move to safety.
Near miss collision information is saved to a centralised dashboard to give insight into collision risk areas and employee behaviour, allowing employers to design safer work environments.
spacebands have a range of safety features designed to save lives, improve awareness and reduce costs.
Machinery/vehicles have a beacon fitted, which will alert employee’s wearing a spacebands wearable device when they come within a set proximity.
The wearable will record if there is a collision or a near miss, and send the data to the dashboard.

The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) reports that around 4% of all fatal accidents in the European Union are caused by machinery, and that many more workers suffer from non-fatal injuries due to machinery accidents.
A worker died every 101 minutes in 2021 from a work related injury, with transportation incidents the most frequent type of fatal event with 1,982 fatal injuries; an increase of 11.5% from the previous year.
Person to machine collisions can result in serious injuries or fatalities, and it is important for employers to implement appropriate safety measures and use devices that can prevent such accidents from occurring.

spacebands have transformed the way we control exposure to vibration. In just a year of use we have reduced exposure by close to 80%. And our production has become far more engaged in proactive safety.
I’d recommend spacebands to any company that takes safety seriously.
Since introducing spacebands, we’ve seen a huge improvement in how we manage hand–arm vibration exposure.
Our monitoring is now instant and accurate, and we’ve significantly reduced the risk of overexposure. The team is also more aware of safe working limits, which has boosted our overall safety culture.
We had previously used a different HAVs wearable, but they were sitting on a shelf gathering dust because our team didn't have the time for tool tagging.
With spacebands, they just have to be wearing the wearable and it records daily exposure.
spacebands gave us the ability to measure various levels of exposure, various tools and various tasks without having to recalibrate or recalculate; or most importantly having a negative effect on our production.
We looked at a few other options but no others that we saw came with that level of flexibility.
Investing in spacebands is a great way to prove to your workforce that you genuinely care about their safety and well-being at work.
Our system keeps employees safe, as well as saving HSE managers significant time spent on admin, freeing up time to focus on keeping your team safe.

Yes you can mute specific wearables so they don’t send an alert. Use cases include if a worker has the required certification or access permissions to be in a certain area then they wouldn’t need to be alerted. You may choose to mute drivers of vehicles such as forklifts, as an example, as they will be in constant proximity to a beacon.
spacebands has been designed to be rolled out at enterprise level with ease. Devices can be set-up as soon as you have purchased them, before they have even been delivered. Customising features and settings is easy and can be done through the desktop dashboard or the mobile app. spacebands require an internet connection within proximity to our Charging Station, but otherwise there are no infrastructure requirements whatsoever.
We offer 12, 24 and 36 month contract lengths - with increased discounts the longer the plan length. Each plan gives you full access to the safety and well-being feature range, the analytics dashboard - and unlimited admin users.
Our charging stations can be used worldwide but come with a UK plug. We can provide adapters for your specific country. Our wearable devices must be charged on the charging station, they cannot simply be plugged into a wall socket as we utilise the charging station to share data to our servers.
Machinery/vehicles have a beacon fitted, which will alert employees wearing a spacebands wearable device when they come within a set proximity (near, middle or far).
Our returns policy enables hassle free returns of the product with no arguments. If a device is broken, we will replace it and then investigate, not the other way around.
